I am anxious for Friday practice to get a feel for our set-up. Both Ferrari's are on their second engines and gearboxes and the weather is calling for possible rain Sunday. We may have a slight advantage over McLaren this weekend on the softer of the tyre compounds. Tyre management will be critical. The track is dirty off of the racing line and not forgiving of even small errors. With the overtaking opportunities it should be very exciting.
Oh, off track. I have to say I was surprised at the FIA General Assembly Extraordinary Vote outcome in the case of the vote of confidence of President Max Mosely. Almost 2 to 1 the members voted confidence in him. I don't know why I was so surprised but with the outcry so loud from sponsors and the public I was expecting a different outcome.
